So I have been a slacker with the blogging…so I thought I would get on here and update the blog. Here are some things we have been up to:
Christa and I ran a 5K this past weekend….we made our goal and didn’t come in dead last. 🙂
Mike is preparing for his national race in Tucson this weekend. He has worked so hard and has a really good team. I am so excited for him!
Guess where we are going next weekend???? 🙂
Is it sad that at career day at school today, that I was the only person asking for information on nursing even though it was meant for my students. P.S. Is it also sad I wanted to do all of the careers they talked about?

I'm excited that you'll be going to Disneyland. Think of me when you are on the Tower of Terror. And I love that roller coaster too. But I'll always remember you and I riding Space Mountain. Be sure to scream all the way, just as you did when you sat behind me when you were younger.I hope Mike does well in that race. I wish I could be there. I admire him for working so hard. I still can't believe how well he did in that El Paso race, fighting cramps all the way.And I think the fact that you wanted to try all those careers shows how talented and intelligent you are. You'd succeed at any of them. It is sad that none of the students thought of checking into nursing. We need more good nurses.
I just had to LOL at that last one about nursing…. lololAll the kids are like "Why is Mrs. Barrow asking all those questions about another career?!" hmmmm! haha
