In August of 2012, we found out we were pregnant!  We had been planning on this for a while, but we still got the jitters knowing that we were going to be parents!  We had spent three years with just a dog and biking away!  Now it’s time for another addition in the house.

Pregnancy Goals


1. Maintain a healthy diet with high protein paired with carbohydrates (especially with being diagnosed with gestational diabetes).

2. Work out at least 30 minutes a day (running, elliptical, group fitness, weights, circuit training, treadmill, biking, and walking).

3. Compete in at least one race during my first trimester.

4.  Do not let the scale effect me..just how I feel!
