Be A Kid Again!

My mind is swimming with everything that went on this weekend! I wish I could blog for days on how wonderful everything went! Besides the fact that I felt like a grandma and wanted to sleep every moment I could, I had such a good time! Lots of food, fun, friends, and family were around to support! Thank you!

These are pictures of my “bachelorette” party. It was kind of low key considering I didn’t have very much money and I was SOOOO tired. After getting pedicures, the girls and I went mini golfing and go carting. I wanted to laser tag so bad! But it was closed down for an iron man competition…

Four More Days

How could you not resist that cute little face?

I’ll tell you what. Mike was a dang cute kid. Anyway! Four more days til the big day! I admit I understand why girls turn into Bridezilla, but I am fighting it. The stress just overcomes you. I have been a good girl though and have been taking it one day at a time.

Poor Mike is throwing up and sick and I have to work all week, but we will conquer!

Gratitude

I was just writing in my journal because today is my last day of being 28. I get all sentimental and sappy about things, especially when its my birthday. I just am overwhelmed with such gratitude for so many things that I have had in my life.

I am so grateful for the people who are in my life. I feel so bad because I take them for granted, but I have never felt so much love. I am truly grateful that I have always been surrounded by such amazing people. They really helped make me who I am today.

Anyway, I just wanted to say thank you! I am really going to miss you guys when I move! Here’s to an amazing 29th year of my life! 🙂

Fox Belt Buckle

So I think Mike has more done for the wedding than I do. He has his suit, his ring, and now his accessories. He also beat me to getting his temple recommend too. What’s going on here?? I’m supposed to be the organized one!

Anyway, I just had to laugh because he found a belt buckle that he and his boys are wearing to the wedding. Boys. This is what it looks like:

Aloha!

Jen threw an amazing bridal shower for me yesterday. It was fun to have people over to chit chat, eat, and play games. I liked how it was really laid back. The hawaiian theme made it even better…the food went quick!

Holly and Shawna showed up, which surprised me! I hadn’t seen Shawna since high school and Holly lives all the way in Salt Lake! We were friends in junior high and high school!

Kerri’s sassy lingerie!

I love the cupcake tree and the Hawaiian decorations. The back porch had parrots and canopies..it was so cute!

And the best part was this little girl walking around in her coconut bra! Haha.

The Brunch Club

I went down to Mannion Middle School last night for the 8th grade awards night. I taught seventh grade last year and had a blast with my students. There was a group of students who hung out during lunch and after school that started a “Brunch Club”. We would play Catch Phrase, pull pranks, they would help me clean my classroom (child labor), and had many hilarious conversations about the most random things. They were so sweet last year and brought me a birthday cake and goodies too!

I had such a good time talking to them and hearing all their stories. I was really glad to hear that they are such good friends now. I am so glad I met these guys and hope to see more of them in the future!

I miss you guys!

You may be seeing the crew crashing my wedding reception. 🙂

Water Slide Fun

Mike was in town this weekend and it was so relaxing! We just hung out, ate a lot of food (as usual) and went swimming. We met up with the family at Cancun (a time share on the Strip)and had a great time swimming, hot tubbing, drinking pina coladas, and sleeping in a hammock! I want to go back!
P.S. We weren’t posing or anything…

Medical Mystery

So three days ago, my head swelled up. Then the next day, it looked bruised. Today, it looks burned! I went to the doctor and he doesn’t even know what is going on! I asked him if it was a bacterial infection, a bruise, hives, a clogged pore, exema, the list went on and on and he kept saying no. He just gave me an antibiotic and told me to wait it out. So now I have to walk around with this nastiness on my face!

Good times.
